Youth Programs
The Community Counseling Center believes that chemical dependency is especially serious in the formative years of adolescents. The ways our children cope with the stresses of these difficult years can set life-long patterns of behavior.
The main goal of the program is to educate our youth, ages 12-17, regarding the seriousness of alcohol and drug abuse and to help them develop life-coping skills to accomplish developmental tasks and move into adulthood.
Much of the program centers on building self-esteem, value clarification, decision making and problem solving as a means to achieve personal growth.
